THE TAPSTAND SETUP GUIDE
One card.
Your review link.
How to set up an NFC Google review card for your business or a client. Start with a writable card, an NFC-compatible phone, and the right business review link.
01 / GET THE LINK
Copy the business’s review link.
Open the business’s Google Business Profile using an account that manages it. Choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the review link. If you are setting up cards for a client, ask them to send you that link.
Open it in your browser first and check the business name. A general Maps share link may open the listing instead of the review form. Google’s review-link guidance.
02 / WRITE THE CARD
Save that link with NFC Tools.
In NFC Tools, open Write → Add a record → URL / URI. Paste the review link and confirm. Tap Write, then hold your phone’s NFC reader close to the card until the app confirms success. The reader location varies by phone.
Use the short review link and keep one URL record on the card. These NTAG213 cards have 144 bytes of user memory, so very long links can be too large. NFC Tools setup guides.
03 / TEST THE TAP
Check the customer experience.
Close the writing app, unlock the phone, and tap the card again. Open the notification and confirm it leads to the correct business. Check another compatible phone before handing the card over. Customers need a Google Account to leave a review.
If nothing happens, check that NFC is enabled where your phone requires it, move the phone slowly over the card, and try away from metal. If the app cannot write, check whether the card is locked. Avoid permanently locking a card until you are sure its link will not need changing.
Buying cards for clients?
TapStand Supply’s acrylic cards have a minimum order of 20 per design. Add your selection to the cart and select your delivery country to view your total. Enter your address securely at checkout. The card stores a link; it does not create reviews or guarantee a rating. Label each client’s batch and test its destination before delivery.
Invite honest feedback from customers. Do not offer rewards for reviews or ask only happy customers to review. Google’s review guidance explains its requirements.
